Did I Eat Healthy At County Fair?? So last week I wrote a blog post on how I was going to try and eat healthy while at our county fair. Well our county fair ended yesterday and here are my results. I pretty much FAILED!! So it was my intention to make food at our camper to have a little bit healthier options and save a little money. We had purchased some food to make tacos and pizza boats and stuff for sandwiches and breakfast. We made breakfast most of the days, we had eggs and bacon. The meals after that were pretty much eaten up at our vendors. A few of the different foods I had were walking taco, pizza, pizza bread, nachos supreme, as well as sugar donuts one morning. We had every intention but our fair was so busy, that by the time it came to making meals, we either needed something fast or were to tired. Then added to our crazy time at the fair I went and covered state high school baseball on a couple of those afternoons.
On the plus side of not eating very good I did do a ton of walking. I have my Fitbit set at 8,000 steps and I went over that each day at the fair. I normally don’t come close to hitting 8,000 steps. So hopefully I walked off some of those bad calories I ate.
The good thing is after going out of town this coming weekend my schedule gets very empty. With fair done, now baseball is done so I am off (well kinda) until football season starts. I still have a ton of baseball pictures to edit. So this will give me more time to get on a good eating schedule and workout schedule. Also our weather is starting to cool off, so I will be able to workout outside more so that’s great.
