Welcome!! I like most people keep saying that I need to start eating better, working out and take care of myself. I always say that but then fail to follow through. Well recently I turned 30 and realized that I really need to start taking better care of myself. So this is going to be my Journey of eating healthier, exercising, and overall healthier lifestyle.
I like most Americans sit at a desk all day then I am super busy after work, and I find it hard to be healthy. Well I am no longer going to use that excuse, and make time for my self. This is the perfect time as my summer schedule is winding down and I will have a break before my fall schedule kicks in.
I have recently been trying to find healthy foods and diet. That is super hard for me as I am a very picky eater. Now I don’t eat super terrible but I also don’t eat the greatest either. Once I find some great meals I am going to start doing meal preps on the weekends. I take my lunch everyday but I always make it the night before.
Fitness: in the next couple of weeks I am going to join our gym. I live in a small town and thankfully we do have a small gym but it is hard to get a hold of the person to join. I am also going try and do some workouts at my house both inside and out.
These are a few of the things I am going to do, along with a lot more. I am going to writing about my journey. I will be posting about good recipes I find. As well as work outs both at the gym and at home. I also want to improve my everyday lifestyle as well so I will be writing about that as well.
I am not a professional by any means, this will be just about what I find that works for me and what doesn’t. As well as the mistakes I make along the way.
My goals for this are to drop some weight not much like 5-10 pounds, but mostly tone everything up. As well as eating healthier and living a healthier lifestyle.
